Distinctive Pet Care owner, Dawn Olson, is a former Veterinary Technician (see Meet The Sitters Page) who has many years of professional pet care and has built her life’s work around ensuring her neighborhood pets have access to the best pet care and services she can provide She brings immense devotion, love and decades of expertise to your pet.
We are happy to be your neighbors and love that we have the opportunity to serve our community for many contiguous years. We don’t take your continued trust lightly and strive to exceed your expectations in the spirit of loving on your pets. We bring loving care to each pet in our care and intentionally provide the BEST services and the BEST professional pet care givers.
Each of our pet sitters are professionally trained and have passed background checks. We only hire pet care professionals who we would allow to care for her own pets!
Our professional pet sitters are matched with client’s specific needs. We exclusively hire professionals, no gig workers. We require continuing education, training (such as Pet First Aid & CPR Training) and extensive training and proven processes which deliver the value of care which comes from Distinctive Pet Care. Our pet sitters are covered with extensive liability coverage as well as employee benefits – this maximizes the care of our employees and minimizes your risk as a home owner.
For your ease of working with us, we use a software called Pet Sitter Plus which allows you to update your pet’s information & care and directly book your pet reservations. This same software provides our pet sitters with their daily schedules where they check-in and out of each visit. Our pet care professionals even send you visit notes and photos directly through the software to your email about our visits, which we know our client’s love!
Clients absolutely love the convenience and security that our pet sitting service provides and we work 365 days per year.
